With the grand of Japanese Government, the department of Electronic Engineering has been established in 1977 with name of " Electronics School" the objective was to Create mainstay erngineers in the Certicate Level . In 1977 - 1986, 350 mainstay assistant engineers were graduated form this school.
In 1986 - 1996 the two year course has been upgraded to a three year one for higher Diploma and the school name changed to "higher Technical School of Electro Technics and Electronics, HTCEE". Up to that period over 1300 human resources for society were produced. Many of them have been working in both private sector and govermen sector, through out the country.
Since 1996 the HTCEE has been promoted to be the department of Electronic Engineering and belong the Faculty of Enginering ,National University of Laos.
Objecttives
The main task of the department is to produce the qualified both higher Technician and Bachelor degree Engineers ; in the fields of Electronic , Communication,Computer and also Information Technology .Research and development activities are counted with not ever less in wieght.
