The Department of Civil Engineering (DOCE), is one of the three academic , was established by the time of founding National Polytechnic institute in 1994.
After having set up National University of laos ( NUOL ) in 1995 , the faculty of Engineering and Architecture ( FEA ) is the biggest of the 10 Faculty which is comprosed of advanced institution , and the DOCE become one of the 7 Department in FEA. Which comproses many of staff offices and operating rooms ( Laboratories situated them selves directly in FEA).
